OUR NEXT MINISTER

It has been confirmed that we have a new minister starting in September.  The Circuit has appointed the Reverend Donna Leigh to have pastoral responsibility for

St Thomas, Sidwell Street and Tedburn St Mary Methodist Churches.  She is the wife of the Reverend Simon Leigh the incoming Circuit Superintendent Minister.

However, Donna’s appointment is only part time and her hours will be shared among the three churches.  This means that we all need to support Donna and each other by serving and caring for our church family, premises and community in whatever ways we can, just as Donna will seek to serve and care for us in the time she has available.

Please pray for Donna and Simon as they prepare to leave Holsworthy and move to Exeter ready to begin their ministries here on 1st September.  Also please continue to hold Julian in your prayers as he concludes his ministry here but continues his Christian witness and calling however and wherever God places him.

Thank you for your ongoing love and support for our church and community.  May we all discover new blessings and welcome new opportunities as we move forward on our Christian journey.
